Dotx PID Tuning Tool (Free Trial version)

The PID Tuner, Free Trial version, guides you through all steps in tuning a PID controller optimally. It will run until for 30 days after installation. 

 
  • Option to import identification experiment data (.csv / .tsv / .txt)
  • Option to set up real-time communication between PID Tuner and PLC via OPC
  • Online Real-Time Trending
  • Automatic identification experiments with option to stop after pushing the stop button, or after sufficient change in PV, or if PV max is exceeded, or PV min
  • Autofit button for automatic fitting of model tot data
  • Possibility for user to adjust model parameters; after each change, a new open loop simulation is shown
  • Automatic PID Tuning based on identified model using tuning rules based on science (dowmload manual for details)
  • Offline comparison of PID performance of old PID settings v.s. optimized PID settings by simulation
  • User controlled button to download PID settings to PLC

 

 

  • PC with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10
  • OPC server (not included in our software!) that allows above mentioned PC to access the required OPC tags (read and write), see manual
